Overview:
NorthStar is a specialized construction group that focuses on commercial roofing as well as high end residential roofing applications. NorthStar’s home base is Leominster, Massachusetts and we employ approximately 40-45 people.

We offer a full service sheet metal shop specializes in architectural sheet metal projects, such as, standing seam metal roofing, custom cornice work and various types of copper roofing.

NorthStar specializes in commercial roofing projects installing, Firestone, Carlisle, Sarnafil as well as numerous other major manufacturers. We also install slate, wood and asphalt shingles, provide masonry repairs to chimneys and parapets walls as well as waterproofing. Our sheet metal shop specializes in architectural sheet metal projects, such as, standing seam metal roofing, custom cornice work and various types of copper roofing.

NorthStar’s geographical work area is generally central New England with the majority of work in Massachusetts we also travel to Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont.

NorthStar has received national recognition for its Firestone applications being designated as a Master Contractor with an Inner Circle of Quality seal. Sika-Sarnafil has recognized NorthStar as an Elite Applicator through consistent quality applications of Sarnafil Roofing Systems. The ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) recognizes NorthStar as a Platinum level STEP (Safety Training and Evaluation Process) Award. In addition to these national recognitions, NorthStar enjoys a solid reputation in the industry for a job well done by many New England general contractors and numerous private businesses.

 Specifics:
● High School diploma or Vocational
   Certification preferred
● The entire group is Open Shop
● Work Year – 52 weeks for skilled
   tradesmen and roof mechanics;
   40 weeks for apprentices
● Pay – Tradesmen $15 to $25/hour
   depending on resume
   and recommendations
   Apprentices $9 to $14/hour depending on
   skills and experience
● Work Hours – 40 to 60 hours/week

 Licenses: Valid Massachusetts driver’s license; added plus – CDL license with medical card, hydraulic license, Propane license, Supervisor’s rating and other.
